Microsoft AI Tour 2025: Generative and Agent AI as a search engine for the country
Milan, 26 March 2025 – Our Microsoft Competence Centre participated in the Microsoft AI Tour 2025, a major international event that made a stop in Italy, involving more than 2,000 participants including entrepreneurs, managers, IT professionals and developers, both in presence and online.
Hosted in the evocative setting of the Palazzo del Ghiaccio in Milan, the event highlighted the strategic role of generative and agent-based Artificial Intelligence as an engine for economic growth and digital transformation. With 37 sessions and over 80 speakers, the Microsoft AI Tour offered an in-depth view of AI’s potential to redefine business models and accelerate return on investment.
During the afternoon sessions, leading speakers shared results, goals and future plans. Among them, Vincenzo Esposito, CEO of Microsoft Italy, emphasised the importance of an innovative ecosystem based on solid infrastructure, security and expertise, so that companies of all sizes can make the most of AI technologies. Asha Sharma, Corporate Vice President and Head of Product Microsoft AI Platform, on the other hand, outlined Microsoft’s vision for the evolution of AI.
