eXtended Security Operation Center (X-SOC): DGS strengthens itself in the fight against cyber threats by upgrating its Service Center.

A cutting-edge center specialized in monitoring, detection and response services to IT, IoT and Identity threats, with a wide range of non-invasive services, to protect corporate infrastructures from growing cyber risks.

Milan, 26th September 2023 – DGS is pleased to announce the strengthening of its cybersecurity service with the inauguration of the eXtended Security Operation Center (X-SOC). This cutting-edge center is designed to address the evolving challenges in the field of cyber security. It provides effective defense against increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. With this new step, DGS consolidates its role as leader in this sector in Italy.

The new X-SOC, located in Sesto San Giovanni (Milan), with a satellite office in Rome, focuses on three key functions.

• Security Operation Center for Information Technology (IT), Internet of Things (IoT) and Identity Security: the security operations center specialized in monitoring, detecting and responding to IT, IoT and Identity security incidents.
• Operation and Maintenance, Vulnerability Management, Cyber Exposure Assessment: the X-SOC also runs daily operations, maintenance of cybersecurity systems and vulnerability management also activities focused on keeping the “attack surface” under control.
• Breach Response e Forensics: in the event of cybersecurity breaches, the X-SOC responds promptly to threats. This includes implementing incident response procedures to limit damage, as well as forensic analysis to identify the source and implications of the attack.

X-SOC offers a wide range of services, including: Managed Detection and Response (MDR), Cyber ​​Threat Intelligence and Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR) in the Threat, Identity & Risk area; External PT/VA (Penetration Testing/Vulnerability Assessment) and Attack Surface Management (ASM) in the Device, App & Surface area; finally, Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) in the Investigation field.
