Data & AI
The integration of corporate business data with the outside world can enable companies to complete an effective Digital Transformation process that is not limited to the adoption of new technologies but that integrates and involves the entire business ecosystem, encouraging transparency, sharing and inclusion of all stakeholders.
This is a huge challenge for any type of business. Our approach to data leverages the best technologies to digitise, robotise and automate businesses.
Intelligence driven organisations
Applying the INTELLIGENCE DRIVEN ORGANISATIONS (IDO) approach, we help organisations identify the set of business outcomes they want to achieve and the direction they want to take in the future, by supporting the digitisation of processes, so that they can be implemented, monitored, measured and continuously improved over time, creating digital feedback loops.
Digital Feedback Loops
These are information flows that become apparent when a business process is redesigned around data (from website usage, sales enquiries, to back-office operations and employee activities or real-time product usage). All this data is collected and used to optimise that particular process through AI-enabled applications. All information can be fed back to the business processes that need it. There are no data silos.
Agile data modelling
Thanks to Data Virtualisation and Agile Data Warehousing logics, we are able to support the company throughout the design and implementation process of a Business Analytics solution while minimising Total Cost of Ownership. The ability to integrate all modern types of data warehouses enables the exploitation of information contained in structured and unstructured data. The creation of Agile Data Lake, in full Agile methodology, allows this information to be quickly exploited and transformed into virtualised data models that can be used by end users via self-service BI and Visual Storytelling tools.
Predictive analytics
An Intelligence Driven Organisation must not only know its past, but also use the information it possesses to understand the ‘future’ context. Predictive analytics, text analysis and graph analytics tools can identify fundamental patterns in its data.
Machine learning
Using Machine Learning algorithms and tools in a Business Analytics solution enables improved and automated decision-making. The ability to exploit Fast Data and real-time data allows you to be more responsive in all business processes.
MICROSOFT POWER BI
Power BI is a business analytics service produced by Microsoft. It provides interactive data visualizations and business intelligence capabilities with a graphical interface, for users to create reports and dashboards.
MICROSOFT AI
Azure Cognitive Services are cloud-based artificial intelligence services that enable developers to create cognitive intelligence in applications without having direct knowledge or skills in artificial intelligence or data science. They are available via REST APIs and client library SDKs in popular development languages. Azure Cognitive Services allows developers to easily add cognitive functionality to applications with cognitive solutions that can visualise, listen, talk and analyse.
Cognitive Services can be classified into four main pillars:
- Vision
- Speech synthesis
- Language
- Decision
DIGITAL LAKE
Digital Lake is the new corporate information system consisting of an ecosystem of business apps, facilitating the work of managers and employees, supported by a single platform for collecting, verifying and accessing corporate data, whatever its source. Completely geared towards breaking down corporate silos, Digital Lake decouples the systems that are the data sources from the applications that employees work with on a daily basis. This decreases lead times and creates a durable system that encourages change and is not affected by the replacement of a data source (ERP, plant, CRM, etc.).

Azure IoT Hub su Azure Stack Hub
IoT Hub now connects millions of devices so that you can monitor, manage and operate your devices from the cloud. Deploying IoT Hub on Azure Stack Hub allows you to manage your entire solution, from the data ingestion pipeline to the analytic workflow to the management of IoT devices and sensors, all from your data centre. Today’s preview unlocks a myriad of on-premises IoT scenarios, including hybrid edge computing for low latency and cloud independence, data sovereignty compliance, and other rich and complex hybrid scenarios that cannot be delivered on the Azure cloud.

Our approach to the SAP universe and high-speed enterprise allows us to exploit both Near Real Time and Memory Streaming logics, respecting the ERP solution chosen by the company. In the first case, by exploiting info source connectors and incremental updating of data in the Data Hub, information is available to be consumed by dashboarding and reporting tools at short intervals, allowing end users to make decisions based on all the necessary insights. In the second case, standard real-time logic structures and the capabilities of the most advanced Visual Analytics tools on the market are utilised, eliminating the latency of updating information.
From a more ‘classic’ approach involving the ‘finding’ of relevant patterns within the company’s information assets in order to derive added value from the world of Operations by answering business questions, to a more ‘up-to-date’ approach aimed at discovering relationships, critical paths, predicting or simulating outcomes and automating decision-making by grasping information directly from the data, ‘insights’, facilitating and nurturing adaptive learning mechanisms.
