Project Portfolio Management is the application of methods, tools and techniques to acquire new skills, meet requirements, respond to organizational changes or create new opportunities. In this course, participants will be introduced to the application and will learn how to effectively manage the life cycle of projects, from start to finish.

Targets
This course is designed for project, program and portfolio managers, members of the Project Management Office (PMO), project groups, project experts and all interested parties who wish to actively interface with the applications of the Project Management world of ServiceNow. After this course, participants will be able to choose specific paths to continue their training as implementation specialists. Upon completion, ServiceNow recommends gaining three to six months of experience on the ServiceNow platform, on one or two PPM projects, before attempting the certification exam.
The features learned in this course allow you to:
- define project ideas and automate the creation of project plans starting from various service management processes
- manage the scope of the project, planning, resources and communicate efficiently with project groups and stakeholders
- track the financial aspects of the project and the commitment of resources
- manage the resources of the activities with a clear vision of capacity, allocations and their use
- monitor progress and generate detailed reports on the project and strategy at portfolio level
- Manage project artefacts and closures.
