DGS, H.I.G. Capital company portfolio, acquires InnovatesApp, a company specialising in end-to-end offerings for the adoption of applications and technologies offered by the SAP ‘Intelligent Enterprise’ suite.

With the fifth acquisition since the entry of H.I.G. into its capital, DGS strengthens its positioning and increases cross-selling opportunities to blue chip customers.

Milan, 1st August 2022 – H.I.G. Europe – European subsidiary of the international investment fund H.I.G. Capital with $50 billion of capital under management – announces the completion of the acquisition of InnovatesApp S.r.l. (‘InnovatesApp’ or the ‘Company’) by its portfolio company DGS S.p.A. (‘DGS’), a leading player in the Italian Information Technology market specialising in the digital transformation of business processes and cybersecurity services. The acquisition of InnovatesApp represents the fifth add-on completed by DGS since it was acquired by H.I.G. in September 2020, following Lumit, Sarce, SMC and Tow 80.

InnovatesApp, based in Rome, is a leading SAP partner and supports its customers in the digital transformation of their processes, offering consulting, implementation and application migration services, and in the management of infrastructure, data and analytics. The company is an ‘SAP Services Preferred Partner’ for specialised consulting services and has recently obtained ‘SAP Gold Partner’ certification for the resale of software licences (or subscriptions). The company mainly targets medium and large-sized companies in various sectors, such as transportation, energy & utilities, telco & media, manufacturing, retail, financial and public sector.
